Your credit score is not a measure of how much credit you have. It is actually a measure of how responsibly you use your credit and make your credit payments. In order to maximize your credit score there are a few things you can do. 1. always make your payment on time. 2. don't let balances on cards get up near their limits 3. don't pay cards to zero each month 4. don't apply for new credit continuously
